Former barony of the Perigord, the château of Bourdeilles presents two castles built on a fortified bank : a medieval fortress and its high keep built between the 13th and 14th centuries, and a Renaissance palace with finely decorated rooms. The furniture collection is outstanding : hundreds of artworks from the 15th to the 19th century. With one of the richest collections of furnitures, workshops, animations and events all year around and mostly the new virtual escape game in the heart of the Château, you will be able going around this monument as privileged hosts in a warm, funny and breathtaking atmosphere.

    Prestige Night Tour and Dinner Cocktail – Saturday, February 15

    To celebrate the rich Périgord gastronomy, we invite you to a Prestige Night Tour of the Château de Bourdeilles. The evening will be followed by a dinner cocktail featuring local products! Among the delights offered: savory tarts, mini-burgers, verrines, farm cheeses, and homemade pastries, all paired with a walnut sparkling wine for an extraordinary experience!

    Start of the Prestige Night Tour: 6:30 PM. Start of the dinner cocktail: 8:00 PM. Reservation required: €45 per person

    Feast of Fools and Carnival Snack – Sunday, February 23 at 2:30 PM

    The Feast of Fools, or Carnival, is a time when people dress up to dance, sing, party, and have fun. During these festivities, social norms and order are turned upside down—masks, makeup, and costumes abound!

    This celebration traditionally takes place mid-Lent, a time of certain culinary restrictions for Christians. Thankfully, at the end of Carnival, delicious donuts called Bugnes were enjoyed!

    Come join our special “Feast of Fools” tour and share a snack worthy of medieval carnivals! Don’t forget your costume!

    Guided Tour of the Château – Sundays, March 9, 16, and 23

    Discover all the secrets of the Château de Bourdeilles with a guide who will accompany you throughout your visit.

    Then, on Sunday, March 23, starting at 3:00 PM, Pauline André and Romain Castagnet, masters of the lute and harpsichord, will offer a concert of ancient music! A true journey through the ages! Sundays, March 9 and 16: Tour starts at 2:30 PM. Sunday, March 23: Tour starts at 11:15 AM, concert begins at 3:00 PM
